
About the Role
Homebound Residential Care is looking for people to fill the important role of Direct Care
Provider. The selected Direct Care Provider(s) will help youth on foster care to live full,
empowered lives in home setting facility. Direct Care Providers support may include cooking,
personal care tasks, household tasks, community activities, medication administration, and
support to maintain good physical, behavioral and emotional health.
This is a Flexible Overtime eligible position with full-time, part-time and on-call hours. Hours of work and
days vary according to shifts. Occasional evening, weekend and holiday work may be required
as job duties demand.
Provides supervision that is trauma informed and relationship based for children, youth, and young adults placed in these programs.
Perform safety checks completed at regular intervals throughout the entirety of the shift
Participate in supportive group and individual supervision sessions with supervisor and team
Maintains a safe, respectful and appropriate living environment for all residents
Demonstrates de-escalation skills in stressful situations, using preventative behavior management skills whenever possible
Builds therapeutic relationships with the residents, both as individuals as well as tending to the group
Supports the day-to-day routines of the house such as meal preparation, supervising residents as they complete daily chores and activities of daily living, household laundry, medication management, and group activities
Perform regularly assigned cleaning tasks and submit maintenance requests as needed
Accompanies residents to individual appointments and as a group for community outings
Maintains clear, professional, timely shift logs, participant contact notes, incident reports and other documentation in designated databases

5. Benefits
Employer will pay a combined total of up to 50% or $100, whichever is cheaper of Health and Dental insurance Premiums.
Employer will pay a flat rate of $50 per month to an employee's Roth IRA or other Investment vehicle, that is owned by for and by the employee.
Paid training & testing:
Employee will reimburse Prospective Employee's Right Response training within 3 months of employment.

Requirements
Must be 21 yrs. of age
Must have high school diploma/GED
1 year work experience directly working with vulnerable populations in a related
field.
Ability to teach effective independence skills for a variety of learning styles and
to plan supportive activities
Are a great problem solver who can think on your feet
Life experience with youth or persons in foster care, poverty, child welfare,
homelessness, behavioral health, or youth violence and a desire to use that
experience to improve the lives of others.
Pre-Employment Requirement
Must pass a background test
Must have acceptable driver's abstract
Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
About the Company
Homebound Residential Care LLC, provide Behavioral Rehabilitation Services (BRS) to WA state
foster youth ages 13-17. Homebound is dedicated to working with the state and creating a
bright future for youths facing behavioral and social difficulties. We bring on dedicated and
educated staff to build confidence, coping and life skills in youth in our program. We help them
build connections to their families and communities to have a greater, and more sustainable,
