ABOUT HOMEBOUND
Homebound Residential Care provide Behavioral Rehabilitation Services to WA state foster youth ages 13-17. Homebound Residential Care ’s mission for providing services to youth placed in our care is primarily based on teaching improved thinking skills, behavioral regulation, problem solving, and gaining better insight as to how one’s own thoughts, feelings and actions are closely interconnected. Treatment goals are determined primarily by the care team, with input from the resident, their family, as well as treatment staff working with the resident. Here at Homebound Residential Care, we know the collaboration of staff, youth, family, and caseworkers is vital to the success of our youth
PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY
Strong connections to their families and communities have greater, and more sustainable, positive outcomes than those who do not preserve these connections. Having a youth return to their family and community in the shortest time possible and being able to transfer the gains made from Homebound Residential Care to home is our goal. We recognize that parents/caregivers are the experts on their youth– knowing what their challenges and strengths are, what works for them, and what they hope for them.
Homebound is dedicated to working with the state and creating a bright future for youths facing difficulties. We look forward to changing lives!!
